26 NWSL Players Called Up for USWNT January Camp

U.S. Women’s National Team head coach Emma Hayes has named a 26-player roster for the January training camp, set to take place from January 14-21 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California. All players hail from the NWSL, representing 11 different clubs. Gotham FC leads the way with six players, followed by the Washington Spirit and North Carolina Courage with three each.

This camp offers a fresh opportunity for emerging talents, as it includes six players receiving their first-ever call-up to the senior team. The camp will not feature international matches but will run concurrently with a “Futures” Camp focused on up-and-coming prospects.

The NWSL has announced its 2025 schedule footprint, featuring a 190-match season, a balanced 26-match regular season, and an eight-team playoff format. Key dates to note:

  • Challenge Cup: Kicks off Friday, March 7, at Inter&Co Stadium in Orlando, Florida, featuring a rematch between the Orlando Pride and Washington Spirit.
  • Regular Season: Begins Friday, March 14, and concludes October 31-November 2.
