An own goal and a historic brace from Racheal Kundananji—the first player to score two in a game for Bay FC—were enough to hold off a determined Houston Dash side. Though eliminated from playoff contention, the Dash rookies had a night too. Heather Hinz took the helm in goal and Avery Patterson netted their second goal of the season.
This victory also set a new standard, as Bay FC now holds the record for the most wins by an expansion team, achieving 11 victories and surpassing the San Diego Wave’s 2022 mark of 10.
