Denver NWSL Breaks Season Ticket Sales Record

Denver NWSL has shattered records as the fastest expansion franchise in league history to surpass 5,000 season ticket deposits, hitting 5,280 in just three days. The surge comes hot on the heels of the team’s official expansion announcement on Jan. 30, making them the NWSL’s 16th club and the first women’s professional sports team in a major national league to call the Mile High City home.

“We are thrilled to see the early support for Denver NWSL,” said controlling owner Rob Cohen. “Our expansion announcement and celebration with the Denver community was a special moment for our club.”

Fans can still reserve their spot by placing deposits here, with seat pricing and inventory details to be finalized soon.

Denver’s announcement event featured Colorado Gov. Jared Polis, Denver Mayor Mike Johnston, and NWSL Commissioner Jessica Berman, followed by a fan rally attended by over 2,000 supporters. The city celebrated the milestone by lighting iconic landmarks like Union Station and Ball Arena in pine green.

Plans for a purpose-built stadium and training facility are underway, with branding details—including the team name and crest—set to be revealed in the future.
