San Diego Wave FC play host to neighbors to the north, Bay FC, at Torero Stadium in the third match up between the two sides this year. The series is split, with each club winning at home. The match between the two clubs on April 26 marked the debut of midfielder Kimmi Ascanio who became the youngest player to start for the Wave in the regular season and the third youngest player to record a goal contribution in a regular season match in NWSL history at 16 years old.
