Boldness and Greatness in the Tar Heel State
Known for their possession-heavy, fluid style, North Carolina Courage heads into 2025 with exciting attacking options. Ashley Sanchez, the team’s assist leader last year, returns alongside young international talent Aline Gomes and Manaka Matsukubo. Dynamic new signings Jaedyn Shaw and Japanese internationals Shinomi Toyama might very well be the difference maker this season, with Kaleigh Kurtz, the team’s 2024 Iron Woman, anchoring the defense alongside promising collegiate addition Brooklyn Courtnall.
