Big Goals, Bigger Ambitions in the Nation’s Capital
Fresh off a record-breaking 2024 season, the Washington Spirit is on a mission to claim another trophy after narrowly missing out on lifting a trophy in the NWSL Championship. Leading the charge are dynamic forwards Trinity Rodman and Ouleymata Sarr, who shared the team’s goal-scoring crown last year, alongside breakout rookies Makenna Morris and Hal Hershfelt. Bolstering their squad are key offseason additions, including the captain of El Tri Femenil and four-time Liga MX Femenil Champion, Rebeca Bernal, and versatile Japanese midfielder Narumi Miura. With renewed firepower and depth, the Spirit is ready to finish what they started.
