NJ/NY Gotham FC’s nominee, Abby Smith, represents Gotham FC’s vision for community and social impact. She is eager to contribute to our diverse communities across New Jersey and New York in a sustained way, building real connections with youth who would not otherwise have access to such opportunities. For Abby, giving back is intrinsic to being a professional soccer player. We uplift one another across the club, fans, community to grow the sport as one, together.

Her ambassadorship with both PowerPlay NYC and South Bronx United this year exemplifies her commitment to the community – especially her willingness to co-design with community partner organizations to integrate into their activities and meet the orgs where they’re at.
