Nominee: Jane Campbell

Community Partner: The Ronald McDonald House

Appreciation Night Match: October 4

Giving back to the community is an everyday part of Jane's life. It's not something she has to be asked to do but something that she loves to do. She understands that she has been given a platform and she wants to make sure that she uses it for good. She is the first to volunteer for events and get out in the community to help others. Ronald McDonald House is close to her heart for the resources they provide families and kids who are going through some of the worst times in their lives. Jane is excited to be able to recognize the house and what they do to help kids and their families who are in a tough situation is incredible. Being able to be a small part of this organization and helping to build their new play area and classroom and provide some recognition to them through this award is just a small part of what Jane does each year.

Her commitment to the community is unmatched. She has won Houston Dash Humanitarian of the year multiple times. She has spent a lot of her time giving back to the military community and helping to provide resources and funding to various veteran organizations both locally and nationally. Many members of her family are currently serving or are veterans themselves which has led to her appreciation and passion for helping that community.

Jane exemplifies what it means to be a leader on the field but also off the field in the community that she lives and plays in and supports her on the field.
