Orlando, Florida – The host, Orlando Pride (4-2-4, 16 points) sent their fans home happy with a late second-half goal in extra time to earn the 1-1 draw against Racing Louisville (3-4-2, 11 points).
Louisville jumped out to the early lead as they used a great counter attack to take the 1-0 advantage in the 21' when Ebony Salmon took on a defender and found the back of the net for her third goal of the season. The first-half goal for Racing was the second goal for the club that was scored in the first 45' of play this regular season. The Pride did not give up throughout the match, as they eventually found the equalizing goal in extra time (90+4) when goalkeeper Ashlyn Harris sent in a ball from the midfield that found Taylor Kornieck in the 18' box where she headed it to Sydney Leroux who fired the ball into the back of the net. This was the second time the two clubs faced off as they also tied in their first match up during the Challenge Cup on April 10 at Louisville. The match was the first competitive contest in Racing Louisville history.
