On the other hand, Kansas City boasts formidable home form, having netted 41 goals at CPKC Stadium in 2024, with Temwa Chawinga near unstoppable in front of her club’s fans. Matchup: Bay FC vs. Orlando Pride – 10:30 PM ET
How to watch: NWSL+

Bay FC takes on the formidable Orlando Pride in the second match on Friday evening, with both clubs in fine form. Orlando boasts an impressive defensive record, having kept clean sheets in their last four league games, and conceded only one goal in their last eight. The last time these two clubs faced off, Orlando secured a nervy 1-0 win, with a penalty from Adriana the difference maker. That was before Barbara Banda arrived in the U.S., however. Meanwhile, Bay FC is enjoying a three-game unbeaten streak (W2 D1), buoyed by Asisat Oshoala’s back-to-back goals. Keep an eye on Anna Moorhouse, who will be looking to extend her 2024 record-breaking clean sheet tally. With a victory, Orlando secures a top 4 spot and a guaranteed home quarterfinal berth.

How to watch: CBS Sports Network (CBSSN)

Angel City FC hosts the Portland Thorns on a Monday night high-stakes matchup with both teams desperate for results to turn around their recent poor form. Sydney Leroux, a thorn in Portland’s side for years, will look to add to her six career goals against them, already scoring for five different teams in matchups against the Thorns.
