National Women's Soccer League Adds Three Senior Hires to League Office

Carlin Hudson tabbed Director of Strategy, Celine Perrot-Johnson named Chief Financial Officer, Maureen Raisch to serve as Creative Director

The National Women’s Soccer League today expanded its front office operations with the hirings of Carlin Hudson as the league’s Director of Strategy, Celine Perrot-Johnson as Chief Financial Officer and Maureen Raisch as Creative Director. With these three new hires, the league has doubled its staff since Commissioner Berman’s tenure began in April 2022.

The National Women’s Soccer League today expanded its front office operations with the hirings of Carlin Hudson as the league’s Director of Strategy, Celine Perrot-Johnson as Chief Financial Officer and Maureen Raisch as Creative Director. With these three new hires, the league has doubled its staff since Commissioner Berman’s tenure began in April 2022. “Carlin, Celine and Maureen all bring impressive experience to the league and I am excited to welcome them to the team,” said NWSL Commissioner Jessica Berman. “Our success will be driven by our people and our culture. As we continue to assemble the resources necessary to elevate the NWSL, I know this trio of incredible talent will be instrumental in helping us create the league our players, fans and stakeholders deserve.” As Director of Strategy, Hudson will oversee the facilitation and execution of the NWSL’s strategic initiatives across the league and its member clubs. She will also oversee the cataloging, analyzing, and sharing of key lessons and resources and provide insights and guidance to advance the league’s success, credibility, and strategic priorities. “As a former NWSL player, I couldn’t be more excited to return to the league in this new role,” said Hudson. “I look forward to leveraging both my professional experience and playing background to help create and implement strategic initiatives that will ensure the NWSL’s long-term success across all aspects of the league.” In her role as Chief Financial Officer, Perrot-Johnson will oversee all financial matters for the league, working closely with senior management to develop and implement business and financial strategies across the organization, including budgeting, long and short-term financial planning and forecasting, analysis and reporting. “I'm honored to be joining the NWSL family as Chief Financial Officer,” said Perrot-Johnson. “The league continues to see exciting growth across the board and I look forward to helping guide the organization with effective business strategies and best practices to aid us in capitalizing on that growth.” As Creative Director, Raisch will oversee the league’s brand vision across digital and social platforms, offline experiential events and merchandise, and spearhead the development and creation of engaging and relevant creative for championships, tournaments, launches, events, social, growth, and motion design disciplines. About Hudson Hudson joins the NWSL after serving as a senior associate consultant at Bain and Company, where she conducted strategic and operational analyses, executed corporate and private equity due diligences, and led workstreams within consulting teams. While at Bain and Company, Hudson served as a strategy extern for the United States Soccer Federation where she directly supported the CEO and broader senior leadership in board management and interfaced with key external stakeholders across the MLS, NWSL and international soccer federations. During her time with U.S. Soccer, Hudson played a key role in leveraging nationwide studies of youth soccer participation to form a long-term approach to expanding access to soccer in historically underrepresented player groups across U.S. Soccer’s more than 100 member organizations. Additionally, Hudson worked closely with sporting operations to develop action plans to improve player development and safety in youth soccer. Hudson began her career in sports as a player, having been drafted in the 2018 NWSL Draft by the North Carolina Courage after spending four seasons as a member of Yale University’s women’s soccer team. Following stints with the Courage and the Washington Spirit, Hudson finished her playing career in France. About Perrot-Johnson Perrot-Johnson joins the NWSL from Buzzfeed and Complex Networks, where she served as Chief Financial Officer and, most recently, Finance Transformation Officer and Treasurer. While there, Perrot-Johnson oversaw strategy and operations across finance, treasury, and mergers and acquisitions, steering the company through acquisition, IPO and global market disruptions. Prior to her work at Buzzfeed and Complex Networks, Perrot-Johnson served as a CFO consultant at Disney Streaming Services where she developed an initial budget for the company’s global direct-to-consumer video business, including ESPN+ premium sports streaming service, Disney+, and BAMTECH media. Perrot-Johnson spent 18 years at Viacom where she served in a variety of roles, including Vice President positions in corporate finance, treasury, financial planning and analysis. In these roles, Perrot-Johnson oversaw all aspects of Viacom’s finance department, including corporate finance function, funding assessment, performance tracking, business intelligence, strategic planning and analysis. Perrot-Johnson received her bachelor’s degree from the ESCP Business School before completing her Master of Business Administration in Finance and International Management from Columbia University. About Raisch Raisch joins the NWSL from the National Football League’s brand experience team. A CLIO award-winning brand designer and illustrator, she designed the Super Bowl LVI primary logo and created the cinematic concept for the event identity in Los Angeles. For 17 seasons, Raisch designed event and team identities for Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League, with projects ranging from the World Series and All-Star Games to the Winter Classic. Notable work of hers includes logo and uniform design for the Houston Astros, Miami Marlins under Derek Jeter’s ownership and the Toronto Blue Jays. Raisch’s illustrations were commissioned for the NFL 100th season at the Miami Super Bowl in 2020 and the Super Bowl LVI Official Game Program and Ticket theme art. In addition to her work in the sports industry, Raisch has spearheaded several ancillary projects as part of Raisch Studios, a creative studio founded by Raisch that has produced digital content and short format digital films for a variety of organizations. Most notably, with the National 9/11 Museum and time-lapse camera work for the Smithsonian Channel’s documentary, “Crowning New York,” covering the construction of One World Trade Center. Maureen was a keynote speaker at the Brand New Conference this past October in Austin TX, sharing her story and creative approach and design process. She has been featured on Forbes, Brand New, IFC and The Guardian UK. Raisch earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2004 from Rutgers University.
