NEW YORK (November 20, 2024) - The National Women’s Soccer League today announced NJ/NY Gotham FC Ann-Katrin Berger has been named 2024 NWSL Goalkeeper of the Year.
Featured in 22 matches for Gotham FC, Berger ranked first in goals against average (0.727), conceding only 16 goals in the regular season. Earning eight clean sheets, the German international ranked third among goalkeepers in the category.
In the regular season, the German international posted a save percentage of 80.49 and made 67 saves and 32 catches.
The list of finalists for NWSL Goalkeeper of the Year was decided after a preliminary round of voting by owners, general managers, coaches, players and media. The finalists were then voted on by fans, owners, general managers, coaches, players and media.
