Amorós led a complete turnaround for Gotham FC, who finished with the worst record in the league in 2022 (4-17-1), also finishing at the bottom of the league in goals scored (16) and conceded (46). Under Amorós, Gotham FC finished with the sixth-best record in the league at 8-7-7 in 2023, scoring 25 goals while allowing just 24, tied for the fourth lowest total in the league.
