The National Women’s Soccer League issued the following news release:The NWSL Disciplinary Committee announced today that it has suspended Portland Thorns FC forward Tyler Lussi for three games and fined her an undisclosed amount for violent conduct that was determined to be a major game misconduct in an incident involving Chicago Red Stars midfielder Danielle Colaprico in the 61st minute of Portland’s match against Chicago on Aug. 12. Lussi will serve the suspensions during the Thorns FC’s next three matches on Aug. 16 at FC Kansas City, Aug. 19 vs. Houston Dash and Aug. 26 at Seattle Reign FC.
