NEW YORK (April 3, 2025) - The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) announced today that Houston Dash midfielder Maggie Graham has been named Rookie of the Month, presented by Ally, for the month of March by the NWSL Media Association and the NWSL’s on-air broadcast talent.
In an impressive start to her NWSL career, Graham scored in each of her first two league appearances, becoming the fifth player in NWSL history and just the third rookie to achieve the feat.
Graham netted her first goal of the season during Houston’s opening weekend matchup against the Washington Spirit. The former Duke standout struck again in Week 2, securing the game-winner for the Dash in a 2-1 win over Chicago Stars FC.
Appearing in 147 minutes of play throughout March, the midfielder earned the first start of her career in the club’s 0-0 draw against Gotham FC in Week 3.
Ally, a financial services company with the nation’s largest all-digital bank and a leading brand in women’s sports, is also a primary sponsor of the NWSL and the official retail banking partner of the NWSLPA.
The NWSL Rookie of the Month, presented by Ally, is selected by the NWSL Media Association, a collection of writers that cover the league consistently, and the NWSL’s on-air broadcast talent. Awards for the month of March are based on performances during NWSL regular season matches.
