Yazmeen Ryan converted on the first in-game penalty kick attempt of her NWSL career and McKenna “Mak” Whitham became the youngest player to appear in a league competition at 14 years, 1 day, as Gotham FC moved into the driver's seat of Group D with a 1-0 shutout of Washington.
