KC CURRENTLY EXTENDING ITS STREAK

Rookie midfielder Claire Hutton recorded her first professional career assist on Ball’s goal, making her the youngest player to record an assist for the Current. The 18-year-old is the third- youngest player to record a regular season assist in league history. IT’S A BANDA WORLD
The Orlando Pride officially set a new NWSL record for consecutive regular season wins with a 2-1 win over Portland Thorns FC. The record-breaking eighth win for the club came off a brace from Zambian forward Barbra Banda who is now tied with Thorns forward Sophia Smith for the league brace lead with three this season. With her two-goal performance, Banda also tied the club record for braces in a single season set by teammate and fellow forward Marta in 2017.
