Notable updates:

North Carolina Courage forward Jessica McDonald is out this week (left hamstring strain), after missing game action in Week 8. Forward Lynn Williams took a knock to her ankle at United States women’s national team training, and is listed as questionable with a right ankle sprain. Goalkeeper Sabrina D’Angelo is listed as probable (left ankle sprain). As previously reported, Boston Breakers midfielder Rose Lavelle is out four to six weeks with a strained left hamstring. Joining her on the report are defender Allysha Chapman, also out with a strained left hamstring and defender Megan Oyster (questionable, bruised right knee). Washington Spirit forward Mallory Pugh is out (left ankle sprain). Midfielder Tori Huster is also out for Week 9 (right quad strain), but defender Caprice Dydasco is off the injury report for the Spirit. Forward Beverly Yanez of Seattle Reign FC is off the injury list for Week 9. The Reign announced on Friday afternoon that midfielder Rumi Utsugi will miss three to four weeks (strained left calf). Tobin Heath’s status has been updated from doubtful in Week 8 to out (D45 – back strain) in this week’s injury report. Forward Nadia Nadim is doubtful (left hamstring strain).
